Zayed Humanitarian Library

Introduction:

The Zayed Humanitarian Library is one of the pioneering initiatives of the Year of Zayed in community service. It is a unique library offered by the Family Development Foundation to its audience and program beneficiaries, enabling them to gain knowledge in a new form, both nationally and regionally. Visitors to the library can borrow and acquire knowledge in the presence of a "human being," a book that enriches us with its rich human experience, knowledge, and intellectual wealth, adding immense value to the reader's knowledge.

Because within each of us is a book containing a wealth of information that others can benefit from by borrowing a human being, not a book as we are accustomed to, the idea of the "Zayed Humanitarian Library" emerged as a new source of inspiring human knowledge.

The library is a cultural and knowledge-based space that seeks to support all members of the community in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by hosting the most prominent creative figures in the country and the Arab world, as well as by providing the latest publications to pioneers and books to those seeking development and child development. It is also a cultural salon where diverse experiences come together to exchange creative and innovative ideas. Creatives and library patrons come together to share inspiration and create change for a better future for generations.

Vision:

A national cultural incubator that achieves self-development and enhances community communication.

Mission:

The Zayed Humanitarian Library seeks to make a positive impact and create change by promoting family culture and consolidating national identity. This is achieved by providing a unique opportunity to borrow creative "human beings," while offering diverse knowledge resources, leveraging modern technologies, and activating cultural partnerships to achieve sustainable knowledge interaction between different generations.
